Software Engineer Intern – Department of Social Affairs, Bengkayang

Software Engineer Intern – Department of Social Affairs, Bengkayang

During my internship, I developed a web-based application to manage incoming and outgoing official letters for the Department of Social Affairs in Bengkayang. The application was built using the Laravel framework and Bootstrap for the frontend. This system was created to replace the manual document handling process, which was prone to data loss and physical damage. By digitizing the workflow, the application significantly improves data input, search, and editing processes, offering a more efficient and reliable solution for document management.

Automated ladder over-limit reports using PostgreSQL and Google Looker Studio at PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Jakarta)

Automated ladder over-limit reports using PostgreSQL and Google Looker Studio at PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Jakarta)

During my internship at PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Protelindo), I was placed in the PAAS Division as part of the Performance team, where I was responsible for developing a real-time monitoring dashboard using Google Looker Studio integrated with PostgreSQL. This dashboard visualized power consumption data from tenants, sourced directly from RTU server outputs, and provided insights into whether power usage exceeded the agreed contractual limits. The solution supported management in making informed decisions by analyzing power efficiency, system reliability, and overall consumption trends. I was also involved in collecting and analyzing BTS power system performance, identifying anomalies, investigating root causes, and preparing regular performance reports for both technical and managerial teams.

Implementation of TOTP and AES-128 in the Bengkayang Parish Application

Implementation of TOTP and AES-128 in the Bengkayang Parish Application

This project focused on enhancing the login system of the Bengkayang Parish web application. I implemented Google login using the OAuth 2.0 protocol and integrated a Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP) mechanism, allowing users to enter a one-time code valid for 30 seconds with a maximum of 5 attempts. To strengthen data security, AES-128 encryption was applied to encrypt the JSON Web Token (JWT). The enhanced system was tested against various attack scenarios including dictionary attacks, rainbow table attacks, and man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks. As a result, the system successfully prevented unauthorized access and proved resilient to brute-force attacks by applying rate limiting.
